Seller identity and paid publishing
Last updated: September 29, 2026
Why it is required
Anyone selling online must say who they are before payment. Your athletes see this information in a Seller box on the payment page, and in their confirmation email.
What blocks publishing, and what does not
- A paid program (price above 0, or individual coaching with a variable price) needs your seller identity to go public.
- A free program does not.
- Stripe is not required to publish. You still need it to get paid: connect it before your first sales (see Connect Stripe).
- A program that is already public is never unpublished.
Fill in your information
- Open Settings, Legal documents tab.
- Seller legal information card: fill in Name or company name, Legal status, Registration number (SIRET or equivalent) and Address.
- Optional: Contact email and Consumer mediator.
- Click Save. The card switches to Complete.
The Before publishing window
If you publish a paid program without a seller identity, the Before publishing window opens with only what is missing: the 4 required fields, and the Connect Stripe button if your account is not linked yet (optional for publishing). Save: publishing resumes on its own.
Prefilled from Stripe
If your Stripe is connected, Unbrokn prefills the empty fields with what Stripe knows: name, status (Sole trader for a sole proprietorship), address, email. Nothing is saved without you: check, then Save. Stripe never shares your SIRET number: type it yourself.
Without an identity
For programs already public, the payment page shows your space name and the line Legal information available on request from the coach. Complete your information as soon as you can.
