Initial commitment and first charge date
Last updated: September 29, 2026
The default initial commitment
- Open your individual coaching settings.
- Initial commitment field: enter 1 to 24 months, or leave it empty for none.
- Save.
The length is prefilled for every new athlete and shown on your page (3-month commitment, then no commitment). Afterwards, the subscription carries on monthly with no commitment.
A different commitment for one athlete
In New athlete, or when editing a pending athlete, change the Commitment period. The commitment that binds the athlete is the one set when they enrolled: changing your default never touches a running contract. Free access has no commitment.
What the athlete experiences
- They see the length before paying.
- If they unsubscribe during the commitment, the cancellation takes effect at its end.
- A pause extends the commitment by the same length.
- About 35 days before the end, Unbrokn emails them a reminder, as required by article L. 215-1 of the French Consumer Code. You have nothing to do.
The deferred first charge
Handy when the current month is already paid separately, by bank transfer for example.
- In New athlete (or when editing a pending athlete), fill in First charge on: a date between tomorrow and 92 days from now.
- The athlete saves their card and gets access right away. Nothing is charged before that date.
- They are charged that day at 9am, then every month. The commitment runs from this first charge.
- If the date is less than 48 hours after the athlete pays, they are charged right away.
- Promo codes are disabled on this kind of payment.
- Leave the field empty to charge at payment.
